Thanks. The base game is very good on its own. It provides all aspects of a good Anno Game and is easily one of (if not) the best entries to the series. However, every DLC adds a bunch of new stuff, all of them good in their own way. This, I'd recommend "finishing" the game before buying any DLCs, if you're reluctant.

50 Euro for the complete full version is very very very cheap. And yes I would say the at least the season 2 dlc is worth to buy. In my opinion you don't need session 1. What is the "Anno 1800 - Year 4 Gold Edition"? I see it's on sale for over twice the price of the base game, but there doesn't seem to a link to it or any information about it whatsoever.
